Cheap office chairs with lumbar support

Hunting for cheap office chairs that still treat your back well? Ergonomic task chairs, breathable mesh seats, leather executive models and gaming chairs all show up here, so remote workers and students can settle in for long desk hours at a lower cost.

Cheap office chairs: which adjustments matter most?

• Adjustable seat height, armrests, and lumbar support let you fit the chair to your desk and body.
• Standard chairs often list about 250 pounds of capacity, while heavy-duty designs go higher, so check the limit and seat width.
• Mesh backs breathe in warm rooms, while foam and fabric cushions feel softer but hold heat.
• Check the casters: hard ones roll well on carpet, while soft rubber ones protect hardwood floors.

Which suits you: Fully adjustable ergonomic chairs suit people working long hours at a desk, while occasional users may be fine with simpler task chairs.
