Checked Luggage Deals

Checked luggage on sale for longer trips

Checked luggage sale offers on medium and large suitcases are grouped here, in hard-shell and soft-side builds. Spinner wheels and expandable zippers come in handy for long vacations, family trips and anyone who always packs a little extra for the flight home.

Checked luggage sale: size and weight limit checks

• Many airlines cap checked bags at 62 linear inches and 50 pounds, so a very large case can push you into overweight fees once packed.
• Hard-shell cases resist crushing and rain, while soft cases flex and expand for souvenirs.
• Wheels and handles take the most abuse in baggage handling, so look for recessed wheels and a sturdy telescoping handle.
• A luggage set pairing carry-on and checked bags saves matching, but confirm each piece's dimensions and the warranty terms.

Which suits you: Families on long trips do well with large spinner suitcases, while occasional travelers might be fine with a basic soft-sided case.
